The International Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms (IALANA) works to prevent nuclear war, abolish nuclear weapons, strengthen international law and encourage the peaceful resolution of international conflicts.

Lawyers from all over the world have joined together with the common cause of influencing governmental policy and keeping nuclear disarmament a fundamental issue on the international political agenda.

The failure of Nuclear Weapons States to implement their disarmament obligations under Article IV of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, and the increasing risk of nuclear weapons use by state or non-state actors, make the work of IALANA more important today than ever before.
